Day 1: Night in Montreal (Saturday night)
Welcome to the Belle province! Upon your arrival, you will be met by a representative from Club Fontbrune who will take you to a very nice hotel in downtown Montreal. You’ll have some time to recover from jet lag and discover the city.  Some activities will be proposed to start off your stay in Quebec. Have a nice vacation!

Day 2: Montreal – Club Fontbrune (Snowmobiling: 50 Km)
relais motoneigeAfter breakfast, you’ll be leaving for Club Fontbrune, about 31/2 hours from Montreal, where your adventure is waiting to begin. Éric and Marie-Josée will be greeting you at the club with a friendship drink. After being introduced to your friendly guide, you will receive the “Big Chill” clothing you will be wearing throughout your stay. You will also be given training and safety instructions for your first snowmobile ride: 50 km on our try out trails to familiarize yourself with your vehicle, Bombardier’s latest model, a Toundra 550 snowmobile designed with the strength and driveability required for off-trail as well as on-trail driving. Guaranteed fun and thrills!

Day 3: Serpent and Ceizur Falls  (Snowmobiling: 150 Km)
You will be setting off on a trail that will take you along the Rivière Gatineau, with a stop to admire Serpent and Ceizur falls, two beautiful attractions in the region. Lunch will be served in the forest, at an inn to be determined.

Day 4:  Montagne du Diable, Windigo Falls, Baskatong  (Snowmobiling: 150 Km)
relais motoneige
You will leave the outfitter for the Montagne du Diable (Devil’s Mountain), a major attraction in the Upper Laurentians. It’s highest point reaches 783 m. and offers a spectacular panoramic view of the entire region and the Baskatong Reservoir, a vast inner sea covering 320 sq. km. There, you’ll also be going on a short excursion to learn how to handle and control your vehicle in powder snow. But first, you’ll be stopping at the spectacular Windigo Falls where river water gently flows down a smooth 18 metre wide boulder.  In the evening, you’ll have time to enjoy our facilities and relax in the sauna or in the spa, under the stars, and admire the Milky Way.

Day 5: Off-trail Ride on the Baskatong (Snowmobiling: 50 Km)
For this 5th day of your journey, you’ll be taking the Baskatong Reservoir by storm and ploughing through snowdrifts. An unforgettable off-trail experience!  You’ll also have the opportunity to visit a moose yard for a chance to see one of Quebec’s most impressive mammals.

Day 6: Club Fontbrune (Outdoor activities)
You’ll be setting aside your snowmobile  for a day of outdoor recreational activities. You can choose one or many activities such as ice fishing, trapping or snowshoe trekking on our trails. Enjoy activities that will take you back to your childhood such as snow tubing or rediscover the simple pleasure of playing in the snow.

relais motoneigeDay 7: Dogsledding (Snowmobiling: 15 km)
A short snowmobile ride of about 15 km on the reservoir will take you to our musher’s home.  He will introduce you to his wonderful dogs and teach you the basics of driving a dogsled before you set off for a ride down our special trails. Lunch will be served in a hut, at the heart of the Laurentian forest. After this wonderful experience from the olden days, you will be riding back to spend your last evening in the comfort of the club and the warmth of the spa and sauna.

Day 8: Club Fontbrune - Montreal
